8/8/07 - 16 weeks old

Little Luke has really started to giggle more and easier. I love it! His sleep habits have us totally exhausted so we are trying the 3 day sleep solution which included removing all clutches that we use to put the baby to sleep - including the pacifier! She says that we, as adults, use thinking and getting comfortable to put ourselves to sleep, but since babies aren't that mature they use their voices, or cry to decompress from their day and go to sleep. The first night is the worst since he is used to us putting him to sleep, but he has to find his own ways to soothe himself so that he can get better sleep. She said that very quickly the crying time gets less and less! A baby never died from crying, right?! Well, it might put his mommy over the edge! We are keeping an eye on his monitor to make sure he is okay... I let you know how it goes! The solution guarantees that the baby will sleep 12 hours a night - what babies need to develop!
