1/16/09 - the coldest day on record

So, this was an interesting week... The weekend and beginning of the week brought at least a foot of snow - yikes! Then, the temps dropped and it was down right FRIGID! Friday we set an all time record -20 regular temp! Unreal! So, the end of the week we stayed home and warm. Schools were closed and all the kids were trapped at home to keep them safe and warm! Luke and I didn't leave the house from Wed at 2pm until Sunday morning! Surprisingly I did quite well not feeling to trapped or too bad of Cabin Fever. The Wii helped entertain us and break it up. We picked the right year to buy it!

Daddy is taking a jog... the remote goes in your pocket and you don't step on the board.  Luke is on the board and you can see on the tv the Wii is yelling at them!  But, Luke was as happy as could be!


Daddy made it half way thru his run and passed it on to let Madison finish!  


New Purple Crocs for sissy are great fun for Luke.  He already has a shoe obsession.  He loves trying to wear everyone's shoes around.  When it is time to leave many times we have to search the house for the other shoe for the pair we want to wear.  He puts one on and walks off and leaves it where ever something else catches his attention and he steps out of it!




Snack time!  They LOVE this table we bought at Christmas time!


In attempt to stay warm I slipped on a jacket.  Sissy wanted him to have matching socks on with her!  Here is the handsome outfit it produced!
