4/12/08 - Fun with Nolan!

Today was a special day for Madison! She got to get together with Nolan - her best friend from Starz. They basically grew up together from about 6 months old! They were always in the same classroom together. When she first saw him she gave him a big hug and then stood next to him and hugged and kissed him several times for about a half hour. She was so glad to be able to see him. It was so sweet! He will be four in May.

First, we met up with Nolan, his mom and sister (who turned one in November!) at Lowe's for the Build and Grow project. Today we made a truck. I highly suggest this activity. I'd never heard of it before. It is FREE!!!! My favorite word! ;-) They give them a little apron that you take home and sew on the patch for the projects you have completed. Sort of like a girl scouts or boy scouts vest. It was a lot of fun! I guess they do a project every other Saturday. Home Depot offers the same type of thing!




Nolan and his family were running a bit behind.  So, by the time they arrived we had finished Madison's truck.  So, we helped him make his!  ;-)  



Next, we headed to Toys R Us for a Thomas the Train book reading, coloring, play date type thing!  Nolan's dad met up with us there!
We finished off with lunch at Burger King and a lot of fun had by the kids playing in their play area!  ;-)  Luke thought it was entertaining watching them, and I just kept feeding him goldfish and he did awesome!  ;-)
